The Pineville Pilot Home Sales Nov. 2013

The Charlotte housing market had another successful month, according to information released by the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association about October home sales.
Sales increased 10 percent between October 2012 and October 2013 in the Charlotte region, and the average sales price increased by nearly 3 percent in that time period.
“The pace of sales seems to be slowing, which is typical for this time of year,” the association’s president, Eric Locher, explained in a news release. “Our local housing recovery continues, though given the challenges of persistently low inventory, tight credit, rising interest rates and uncertainty on the federal level, future sales could be impacted.”
Pineville saw an increase in the number of homes sold and the average sales price this October compared to October 2012, according to numbers compiled from the association’s Carolina MLS website, www.sales.carolinahome.
