…On South Charlotte Weekly’s sports coverage

Dear Editor,
Since your newspaper is dropped in my driveway every Thursday and I read it from time to time, I thought it may be worth noting to you that there are many families in south Charlotte whose children don’t go to private schools. In fact, the great majority of homeowners in this area have kids who go to public schools. I write this because all seven of the sports articles in your latest edition (May 27-June 2) were about private schools. Not one – not a single one – focused on student-athletes in public schools. Why is this? Is it your goal to be elitist or are your sports editors just lazy?
