The animal rescue groups Blind Dog Rescue, Furever Angels Animal Rescue, Lucky Labs, Greater Charlotte’s SPCA and a few others will be at the Petco at Piper Glen this weekend for a large adoption event.
The event, Saturday, Aug. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will have around 30 dogs. All the rescue groups require people to fill out an application and go through a home visit before a dog can be taken home.
Petco is located at 6416 Rea Road, near Trader Joe’s.
