The South Mecklenburg Alliance of Responsible Taxpayers, or SMART, will meet Aug. 25 to talk about issues important to south Charlotte taxpayers.
The meeting, at 9 a.m. at the Raintree Country Club, will focus on city/county consolidation, property tax revaluation, debt and spending at the city and county level and de-annexation of south Charlotte from the city.
The country club is located at 8600 Raintree Lane.
