Intelligence test offered at local Red Cross

Charlotte/Blue Ridge Mensa will host a public testing session at the American Red Cross location in south Charlotte this weekend.

The standardized intelligence test is needed for people who want to join the Mensa organization, which only accepts those that score in the top 2 percent of the general population. The test includes questions involving logic and deductive reasoning. Find more information about the group at its website, www.cbrmensa.org.

People need to show up for the test Saturday, Aug. 18, by 9:45 a.m. to register. People need to bring a photo ID and $40 for the fee. Contact Jack Howard at jackthoward@earthlink.net for more information.
