As a resident in (unfortunately) James’ district, I am not one of “his people”, I’m not looking to lose desired municipal services, i do not want to be excised from the Charlotte city limits, I don’t want my taxes reduced (and suffer poorer & fewer services) – I enjoy paying my taxes as a citizen, it is my civic duty, and, taxes buy me civilization (as Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes once said). This guy is a neanderthal and needs to be voted out of office as soon as possible. James. join the 21st Century and stop trying to drag the rest of us back to the 19th or 18th!!
