The YWCA was recently honored with the Trailblazer Award from the Charlotte Housing Authority.
The award recognizes an organization that demonstrates leadership in youth issues and participates in educational or community-strengthening activities.
Meanwhile, the YWCA also recently named four new members to its board. Jada Grandy, Rosalyn Allison-Jacobs, Anne Pipkin and Teresa Williams are the newest members.
