Charlotte City Council awarded a contract for construction of sidewalks between Folger Drive and Blueberry Lane on Providence Road at their Monday, March 28, business meeting.
W.M. Warr and Son, LLC, will construct 1,300 feet of sidewalk on the west side of Providence between Folger and Blueberry for $104,167.
Construction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2011.
