Charlotte Christian welcomes new leaders

Charlotte Christian School recently announced three new employees that will serve in several leadership roles.

Becky McKnight is the school’s new Lower School assistant principal, Jeremy Cummings is the new Upper School spiritual life director and Ken Griffin will take the role as director of institutional advancement.

McKnight formerly worked in the Union County Public School System as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and assistant principal. She holds a master’s in school administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She will focus on lower school curriculum and faculty development.

Cummings formerly served as pastor at Waxhaw Bible Church and has taught Bible classes both internationally and in the United States. He holds a master’s in apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. In addition to upper school spiritual life director, he also will serve as the ninth-grade Bible teacher.

Griffin previously served as the director of major gifts at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas. He holds a master’s in higher education from West Chester University. In his new position, Griffin will focus on raising Charlotte Christian community support for capital improvements and campaigns.
