Local schools to represent CMS at state science competition

Several Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in south Charlotte will represent the district at the North Carolina Science Olympiad Competition April 27 through 28 at North Carolina State University.

North Carolina Science Olympiad is for students with a passion for science, technology, engineering and math. Pairs of students participate in challenging events about topics in biology, earth science, environmental science, chemistry, physics, engineering and technology.

Jay M. Robinson Middle School and Ardrey Kell, Myers Park, Providence and East Mecklenburg high schools will have students at the event.
