To the contrary, I have eaten at Ru San's for almost 7 years now and EVER time the dinning and the food quality has been well above any sushi eatery i've dined at in Charlotte. I myself am a Chef, well known in the area and know what it takes to put out such quality food ! I don't know who was dumb enough to pay for this wright up but i would ask for my money back!
I find this article biased. It is very much Cherne-leaning and I really don't find that helpful when i am looking to the news for an unbiased line up of two candidates. I have researched both of these candidate thoroughly and Ms. Cherne seems to give a lot of lip service that doesn't present any real solutions. Mr. Ridenhour, on the other hand, give concise ideas for solutions to the problems our county is facing. I assume he gets that from his military background because in the military you don't just complain about a problem, you present a problem and you had better have a good idea for a solution (with a back up if you are smart!).

Modern roundabouts are the safest form of intersection in the world. Search www.iihs.org for FAQs and safety facts. The safety comes from the ‘slow and go’ operation instead of the ‘stop or go fast’ way a stop light works (or the ‘keep going fast’ large traffic circle fantasy). The smaller size of the modern roundabout is what makes them safer and keeps speeds in the 20 mph range. This makes it much easier to avoid a crash or stop for pedestrians. It also means that if a crash happens the likelihood of injury is very low. Safety is the #1 reason there are over 2,400 modern roundabouts in the US today and many more on the way.
Slow and go also means less delay than a stop light, especially the other 20 hours a day people aren’t driving to or from work. Average daily delay at a signal is around 12 seconds per car. At a modern roundabout average delay is less than five seconds. Signals take an hour of demand and restrict it to a half hour, at best only half the traffic gets to go at any one time. At a modern roundabout four drivers entering from four directions can all enter at the same time. Don’t try that with a signalized intersection.
The essential factor, though, is to make sure traffic in the circular roadway can't go much faster than 20 mph. For the very curious search 'turbo roundabouts' - turbo referring to the pattern, not the speed.

Are these people nuts? This actions would demonstrate that our Democratic liberal politicians in Charlotte are oblivious to what is happening around them or what the consequences of their actions are likely to be. Stupid! We are now in full progressive mode, so Charlotte should become Detroit in a decade or so. People should begin to flee Charlotte for surrounding counties, towns or SC. This kind of action should help gain South Charlotte a sympathetic state legislature when we ask for de-annexation. Let them bring the city down around their own ears. These folks should be cutting spending and creating surpluses to reduce taxes if they want to maintain a vibrant city. LOL.

I've worked at Elon Homes and Schools for Children, the nonprofit agency that runs Kennedy Charter School, for about a year now, and the work I see happening in the lives of the students impresses me every day. The school relies on grants and charitable contributions to cover the costs of facilities, transportation and many other needs.
