Auditions coming up for CPCC’s ‘Sylvia’

Central Piedmont Community College’s theater department is holding auditions soon for its performance of “Sylvia.”

The department needs two men and four women for characters between the ages of 18 and 60 or older. Auditions will consist of readings from the script, and people do not have to be CPCC students to participate.

Auditions are Sept. 10 and 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the school’s Pease Auditorium, 1200 Elizabeth Ave. Also needed are people to work backstage, prepare the stage and handle props. Find more information by contacting Tom Hollis at tom.hollis@cpcc.edu or 704-330-6835.
