Charlotte Symphony honors France

Viva La France is the next Summer Pops concert from the Charlotte Symphony.

The concert, Sunday, June 24, at Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall, will feature pieces from French composers like Georges Bizet, Hector Berlioz and Joseph-Maurice Ravel. The prelude act starts at 7 p.m., with the Charlotte Symphony getting under way at 8:15 p.m. People can bring blankets and low lawn chairs, like a beach chair. Chairs can’t be taller than 9 inches.

Single-show tickets are $10 for adults. Children younger than 18 are free.
