The Charlotte Nature Museum is getting ready to introduce local kids to the animal world’s babies.
With spring typically comes a new batch of babies, so on Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the museum will host Nature’s Babies and show children everything from hatchling box turtles to Snappy, the resident juvenile American alligator.
The event will teach kids about how baby animals survive and grow up. It’s part of the museum’s monthly Creature Features series. It costs $6 to attend for children ages 2 and older. Kids younger than 2 get in free.
The museum is located at 1658 Sterling Road. Find more information at the museum’s website, www.charlottenaturemuseum.org.
