Discovery Place is getting ready to extend its hours for the summer.
Starting Saturday, May 26, and running until Sept. 3, the interactive museum will be open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
Exhibits this summer include “National Geographic Crittercam: The World Through Animal Eyes,” which opens Saturday. Find more information on Discovery Place and upcoming exhibits at the museum’s website, www.discoveryplace.org.
The museum is located at 301 N. Tryon St.
