CPCC chorus to perform “An American Tapestry”

The Central Piedmont Community Chorus, with the Central Piedmont Chorale, will host its 35th annual spring revue early next month.

This year’s revue, scheduled for June 2 and 3, is “An American Tapestry.” The event will feature the music of Aaron Copland, Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and Billy Joel. People will hear songs like “Stomp Your Foot,” “Send in the Clowns” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing.”

Performances are June 2 at 8 p.m. and June 3 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15. Purchase tickets by calling 704-330-6534.

The shows are at the college’s Pease Auditorium, 1201 Elizabeth Ave.
