The Ballantyne Theatre will soon perform a number of showings of “Eleemosynary.”
The play tells the story of three women and how their lives interact: Dorothea, the grandmother; Artemis, her brilliant daughter; and Echo, Dorothea’s sensitive and intelligent granddaughter.
The play runs May 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. at the Ballantyne Performing Arts Center, 11318 N. Community House Road. There’s a special showing on Mother’s Day, May 13, at 2 p.m. with free tickets for moms with a paid ticket purchase. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.carolinatix.org.
The show is appropriate for those 15 years old and older.
