There’s still time to put your bid in during the Symphony Guild of Charlotte’s inaugural Festival of Trees fundraiser.

People can bid on eight, 3-foot-high artificial trees that have been decorated by interior, floral and landscape designers from across Charlotte. The guild has displayed the trees at the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and also online at www.symphonyguildcharlotte.org/events.htm. People can bid online without other bidders seeing their identity. Only the highest bid can be seen. The minimum bid for each tree is $100.

Each tree also includes either tickets to performances or memberships contributed by arts partners like Carolina Voice, Mint Museum and Opera Carolina.

Bidding ends Sunday, Dec. 4, and the guild will notify winners immediately. Money raised benefits the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
