Regan joined Charlotte Weekly as a staff writer in February 2005. She serves as the paper’s features editor and humor columnist, specializing in local news about medical advances, nonprofit organizations and intriguing people. Her biweekly column, Regan’s Rant, is available online at www.thecharlotteweekly.com, and broadcast versions of her latest tirade can be seen every Friday during WBTV’s 10 p.m. newscast on WJZY UPN 46, cable channel 8.
Regan’s move to Charlotte at age 12 makes her nearly a native of the Queen City. A 1999 graduate of Charlotte Latin School and 2002 graduate of Yale University, she enjoys road biking, hiking, people watching, eating dessert and dancing to ’80s music.
