Anna Butler joined the Charlotte Weekly in August 2006 and now covers education in Charlotte and the political happenings of Union County. A native Charlottean, Anna attended Providence Day and Charlotte Christian schools. A 2003 Carson-Newman College graduate, she majored in mass communications and minored in journalism.
When not burning up the roads between Charlotte and Union County, Anna enjoys going for a long run, spending time with family and friends, painting with oils and acrylics, and experimenting in the kitchen with recipes garnered from Heidi Billotto and co-workers.
