Student openings at lakeside schools

Palisades Episcopal on track to open
Palisades Episcopal School begins its first year of classes Aug. 20 and will offer kindergarten through fourth grades. It was established by the founders of Trinity Episcopal School in uptown Charlotte. A full staff is hired and preparations are under way to open at the fall semester’s temporary location, Camp Thunderbird, located on the South Carolina side of the Buster Boyd Bridge.

The school will have access to camp facilities, including trails, a cafeteria and a chapel, as well as the camp’s after-school program. Palisades Episcopal School anticipates relocating into a new 10,000-square-foot facility at the Palisades Village Center prior to the spring 2008 semester.

Openings are available for students; prospective families should contact Admissions Director Lisa Roden at 704-583-1825 for details.
